Order Filler – Quantico, VA

About the Job

AQuate Corporation has an exciting full time opportunity for an Order Filler in Quantico Virginia. The successful candidate will perform any combination of tasks involving receiving, storage, distribution, and return of military gear. Assists in the issues and de-issues of Permanent Personnel, Formal Schools, and Units. Gear issues and de-issues are done on a computer, with a high attention to detail involved. Participate in daily inventories and may be required to help in the processing of laundry, repairable items, and damaged gear. Will also be involved in the transferring of military gear between warehouse locations using a hand-held computer device and warehouse equipment.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Include but are not limited to:

  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs. minimum.
  • Properly fill out documentation corresponding to specific functions.
  • Able to work mostly unsupervised and maintain productivity.
  • Maintaining gear serviceability.
  • Issuing and de-issuing gear for multiple types of customers.
  • Providing accurate, daily inventories.
  • Transferring gear between warehouse locations.
  • Must have base computer literacy skills.
  • Assist in processing and cataloging repairable, DRMO, and laundry items as needed.
  • Daily and weekly cleaning of work stations and surrounding areas.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
  • A thorough working knowledge of basic warehouse functions.
  • Ability to use a hand truck and manual pallet jack.
  • Ability to communicate effectively orally and written.
  • Customer service oriented.
  • Prior military experience is a plus, but not required.
  • Prior warehouse experience is a plus, but not required.
  • Must be motivated and eager to learn.
  • Must be able to pass a drug test and background check.
  • Must be able to obtain a security clearance.

 Contract Manager

About the Job

AQuate Services has an exciting opportunity for a Contracts Manager in Huntsville, Alabama. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing, directing, and controlling the contracting and sub-contracting functions for multiple contracts and agreements. This includes overseeing contract administration and managing complex issues regarding contracts and related matters.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the administration of prime contracts and subcontracts to include proposals, negotiation, award, administration, and closeout.
  • Represents the business unit as the primary liaison with Government Contracting Officers and higher tier contractors and the secondary liaison with DCMA and DCAA, and other organizations as directed by company management
  • Responsible for the establishment of policies and procedures for contract and subcontract management to ensure corporate objectives are met
  • Assists with the evaluation of government solicitations and preparation of contractual provisions for proposals
  • Review performance requirements, delivery schedules and other contractual obligations to ensure accuracy, completeness and adherence to bid specifications or contract terms
  • Develops, negotiates, and administers contracts and subcontracts of high complexity and risk to fulfill authorized requirements, ensuring compliance on supplier cost, schedule, legal and performance elements
  • Responsible for managing and supervising the work of others
  • Maintains repository of contractual documents including but not limited to:
    • Contract Awards
    • Contract Modifications
    • Correspondence pertaining to negotiations or resolution of contractual matters
    • Proposals at the Contract, Task Order, Delivery Order, and Technical Instruction levels
    • Training materials related to the Contracts Department
    • Major Pre-Award Bid and Proposal files including the Solicitation and final corporate response submissions
    • Subcontract, purchase order, and vendor / supplier RFPs and responses
    • Executed Teaming Agreements, Non-Disclosure Agreements, and Consulting Agreements and any modification issued thereunder.

Education and Experience:

  • Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Contract Management, Acquisitions or related field, a Master’s degree is preferred
  • Must have a minimum of 5 years of directly related experience in government contracts
  • Must have experience in contract negotiations
  • National Contracts Management Association certification is a plus
  • Must be able to obtain a security clearance.
